• Credentials
Credentials for University of Georgia home basketball games are issued for working media only and should be requested as early as possible. All requests should be made on official letterhead and sent to: Tim Hix, Associate SCD UGA Athletic Association P.O. Box 1472 Athens, GA 30603-1472 Fax: (706) 542-7993 Passes will be mailed when time allows. Other single-game credentials will be left at the press will call window, located at Ticket Booth No. 4 on Smith Street. Credentials are issued on a priority basis. A limited number of parking passes will also be issued.
• Interviews
• Interviews with coaches and players, will be conducted before practice on predetermined dates outside the Bulldogs’ practice gymnasium. Unless the calendar necessitates a change, these availabilities will take place the day before each game. As much advance notice as possible will be given for these dates and times. • Special exceptions to this arrangement can be made with at least one day’s notice.
• Post-Game Interviews
After each game, Georgia’s locker room is CLOSED to the media. At home games, after a brief cooling-off period, requested players will be brought into the Conference Room, located through Portal #2. The best opportunity to interview Coach Fox is also in the Conference Room. At road games, players will be brought outside the locker room.
• Practices
Georgia practice sessions are generally CLOSED to the media. TV cams and photographers are allowed to shoot a predetermined portion at the beginning of each practice. During this 15-minute period, all photographers are asked to remain in the baseline areas normally reserved for shooting in a game.
• Photographers
Only those accredited photographers working on assignment will be issued

sideline credentials. Flashes and strobe units are prohibited unless permission has been granted. Photographers should shoot from the designated endzone locations. No photographers are permitted in the bench area of either team.
• Transmitting Digital Photography
• Photographers who wish to transmit their photos on-site — are asked not to use the Press Room facilities. There is a room adjacent to the working Press Room dedicated to the transmission of digital photography.
• High-Speed Internet
• Media wishing to obtain high-speed Internet access may log on to the University’s LAN, either through wireless or hard-wired method. Both are available in the working Press Rooms. Please see a member of the UGA Sports Communications office to obtain a user name and password for the University network.
• Bulldogs on the Internet
Media members can obtain all current information on Georgia basketball by visiting its home page on the Internet. Its address is as follows http://www.georgiadogs.com
• SEC Coaches’ Teleconference
The 12 SEC head coaches will be featured on a teleconference from 11:00 a.m. - 12:24 p.m. (Eastern) during the 2010-11 season. The call will be held each Monday beginning January 3, 2011. Media representatives wishing to participate in the teleconference should contact the SEC Media Relations Department for further details. The schedule is as follows.
