Individual Academic Honors
As the Georgia Soccer players exit their locker room, the first thing they see across the hall is the display promoting Georgia’s commitment to Academic Excellence (above). The Bulldogs have been awarded the NSCAA Team Academic Award six straight years and in seven of the last eight. The award is given annually to collegiate teams that maintain a team GPA over a 3.0 The display also recognizes the individual player who finishes the year with the highest GPA, an award established by head coach Patrick Baker in 2005.
