The Lady Bulldog Legend Georgia rose from relative obscurity to be one of the nation’s premier college basketball programs in the early 1980s. A quarter-century later, the Lady Bulldogs work hard on a daily basis to maintain the levels of excellence established by their predecessors. The life associated with Georgia Basketball is exceptionally unique. Lady Bulldogs of past and present take pride in attacking every task both on and off the court – with the goal of performing it to perfection. That quest received a significant boost in September 2007 when the Lady Bulldogs christened their $30-million, 120,000-square-foot, second-to-none practice facility. The complex proved once again that there’s nothing quite like living a Lady Bulldog’s life.
“It’s everything we had hoped for. It could very well be the nicest facility of its kind in the entire country. It serves our student-athletes well as they strive to be the best that they can be. Perhaps its greatest compliment is that it’s a very functional building. It’s well thought out, well designed and meticulously appointed.” -Andy Landers
