Kerr will be responsible for insurance coverage in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Ms. Kerr will assume responsibility for insurance coverage in the Americas, Europe and Asia. She joins FPCG eight months following its management buyout and brings over 25 years of banking experience across debt capital markets, invesztment banking and coverage of insurance assets. Most recently, Ms. Kerr served as a Director with Barclays where she developed and managed the Japanese Yen private placement platform. These complex placements enable life insurance companies to match assets and liabilities while providing a longterm financing alternative for corporate, utility, infrastructure, and sovereign issuers worldwide. Prior to joining Barclays, she built similar private placement businesses at both Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers where she served as a global relationship manager for these key investors. A proven leader in global team management, Ms. Kerr successfully executed over $8.5 billion of bilaterally negotiated private placements for one of Japan’s largest life insurance companies. “Maureen combines senior international experience with a strong track record of effectively partnering across divisions with a deep understanding of regulatory, market, and legal frameworks,” said FPCG’s Chief Executive David Conrod.
