Product Description Lifecore's 800 rb recumbent bike is built on the same 44" frame as our award winning 900 rb and 1000 rb, making it an excellent training bike which takes up minimal floor space. The 5" pedal spacing reduces joint stress, while computerized resistance and 12 pre-set programs allows for a workout tailored to your fitness goals. Read more Product Description Built using the same compact 44-inch frame as LifeCore's award-winning 900RB and 1000RB bikes, the LC-800RB recumbent exercise bike is comfortable and sturdy, yet takes up far less space than many competing recumbent bikes. As a result, the LC-800RB is perfect for space-restricted basements, dens, and other locations. The bike is outfitted with such features as an ultra-reliable motorized resistance system that creates a smooth, comfortable pedaling performance, along with a 5-inch pedal diameter that helps reduce joint stress. More significantly, the bike's variety of workout programs--which includes 12 preset programs, four heart-rate-control programs, and 16 levels of magnetic resistance--make it easy to design a custom exercise routine. And it's easy to track your progress thanks to the large LED display, which shows your time, distance, speed, calories, and pulse.

The bike's large LED display shows time, distance, speed, and more.

Perhaps the bike's most popular feature, however, is the step-through recumbent frame, which makes the bike easy to mount and comfortable to ride. It's perfect for people who suffer from saddle sore on traditional exercise bikes, or who want to protect their knees from repeated pounding. Other details include contact heart rate sensors on the grips, an infinitely adjustable sliding seat track, a Poly-V flexonic drive belt guaranteed never to stretch, built-in wheels for added mobility, and a weight capacity of 300 pounds. Powered completely by batteries, the LC-800RB measures 24 by 42 by 44 inches (W x H x D), weighs 108 pounds, and carries a two-year warranty on parts and a 90-day warranty on labor.

The compact frame is ideal for smaller homes.

By listening to people's needs, comments, and suggestions, the company helps customers meet their ultimate health and fitness goals. About Recumbent Exercise Bikes Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out. The term recumbent literally means "lying down." Exercising in a recumbent or reclining position allows the user to have full ergonomic back support, without causing strain on the arms, neck and shoulders, all of which can be common effects of using an upright bicycle. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.
