Repetition, light, color, shadow, are all important principles to design. This project unified the defining principles to create a colorful space. Firstly, a pattern was made from ink which was was oriented in different ways to make various designs. Choosing a color palette, the next step was to create a plaid which transitioned to a colorful pattern from the previous step. Lastly, creating a paper design, it was then colored using the color palette. Learning in this step-by-step process was important to developing various design principles.
