Gennaro Brooks-Church is a green builder who is famous for running a construction Company called Eco Brooklyn. What made him gain huge attention in the industry are his skills in green building consulting, sustainability consulting, renovation, real estate development, construction salvage management, and more.
What else’s, he is a true artist and a famous living wall installer who creates magical indoor/outdoor spaces using creativity and living wall plants. His love for nature and rich experience and education made him come up with creative ideas that facilitate environmental sustainability and enhance the aesthetics of living spaces. Gendville, 45, runs a Planted Community Cafe and a local chain of yoga studios, spas, and children’s stores called Area. The couple currently rents out a brownstone they owned on Airbnb, a treehouse, and a turtle pond.
The Spanish guy “Brooks-Church” moved to New York in 1997 to study comparative religion and creative writing at Columbia. He met Gendville in a Yoga class and they began dating. All paid to their continuous efforts, in 2002, they bought the house at 1214 Dean Street and another old brownstone in 2008 at 22 2nd Street. There, they raised their two sons and a daughter.
