Welcome to our Spring season
from Generator CEO Mick Ross
Following a record-breaking year in 2022, a new year brings a whole host of new and exciting opportunities for the creative community here in the North East and we’re showing no signs of slowing down as we gear up for another jampacked season here at Generator.
Our Generator Union network continues to connect creatives from across the area and I’m delighted to see some fabulous collaboration starting to be generated amongst our members. We’ve also welcomed our new Generator Union lead Ste to steer the ship and his plans on the horizon include some of our most interesting events and masterclasses to date.
We’re delighted to introduce the first wave of artists to be playing Generator Live festival this September. Tickets are only £15 and we’ve got a whole raft of amazing talented names to announce over the next few months.

Access cutting-edge new music diploma #TheWRD with a scholarship
Launched at our Mini Music Conference in December, Generator have partnered with the Ivors Academy, the team behind the Ivor Novello Awards to provide access to a groundbreaking music diploma, delivered using cutting-edge VR technology.
The Level 3 diploma in Music Entrepreneurship brings together industry expertise and innovative modules to equip learners with the skills to develop their career as creative entrepreneurs.
Generator has access to a number of scholarships worth over £5,000 for artists and creatives from the North East.
