Großtagespflege Villa Glückskind Pyjama Day „Everything is better in Pyjamas”

Happy faces, cozy and colourful pyjamas, furry friends and the smell of popcorn. This describes the perfect day for every child. In January, we organised a pyjama day to lift our spirits and to have a bit of normality. The children were very excited and couldn’t believe that they were allowed to come to the group in their pyjamas. Some children wore their favourite superhero, disney character and others had flowery patterns and striped pyjamas.

To celebrate this special day, we had a fun program organised with different stations and a special treat at the end. We had an egg-and-spoon race, sack race, a blindfolded challenge and a decorate a popcorn bag station which the children loved.

After completing each station, the children got a stamp on their activity card and when they achieved all of them, we had a special treat prepared. Because what would a pyjama day be, without delicious popcorn and a short film? We set up the other room as a cinema and gave every child a cinema ticket to enter the room and a bag of popcorn. It was a moment of joy, especially watching an old classic film: “care bears” This is definitely something which the children will never forget when they leave here for their next adventure.
