I love a good ghost story. And few are as bone-chilling as the story of what happened to Jared Mezzocchi’s own family. When Jared—a true Renaissance man in the world of mixed media—suggested this story might make for an exciting evening of virtual theater, we were in. This is truly a case of truth being far stranger than fiction. It has been our pleasure to work with Jared and director Margot Bordelon, as they have elevated the art of telling ghost stories via Zoom. In collaboration with ViDCo, a collective of extraordinary designers, they have brought this story of death to life. As in all of the Stayhouse shows that have come before, the audience remains an integral part of this experience, and we are so glad you are joining us. 2 S O M E O N E E LS E ’S H O U S E

As we slowly move toward reopening the theater and welcoming you back in person, we are thrilled to be able to continue our virtual programming with Someone Else’s House and a new musical for kids, The Door You Never Saw Before: A Choosical Musical. Apart from simply keeping the theater afloat in this strange and difficult time, these shows have been a wonderful opportunity to work in an entirely different medium and engage with audiences in a new way. With that said, we can’t wait to see you at the theater again. Until then, enjoy Someone Else’s House! Matt Shakman Artistic Director
