DLAYER UNIKO deriva dal sistema di estrazione Lackfilm - Metodo a Buccia (1932). Il “Metodo a Buccia” dei profili e sedimenti del Prof. Dr. Ehrhard Voigt (1905 - 2004) consisteva nell’estrazione dei profili geologici del terreno, arrotolamento e trasporto in laboratorio al fine di condurre ricerche più approfondite e classificare i reperti paleontologici. DLAYER UNIKO comes from the mineral processing Lackfilm - Peeling System (1932). The “Peeling System” of profiles and sediments of Prof. Ehrhard Voigt (1905-2004) consisted in the extraction of the geological profiles of the land, rolling and transport them to the laboratory to conduct deeper researches and to classify the paleontological finds.
La base degli attuali profili geologici/rocciosi propone una qualità uniforme del prodotto, grazie soprattutto ad un’accurata selezione dei siti di estrazione da parte dei ricercatori DLAYER. Selezione che avviene tenendo in considerazione aspetti geologici, estetici e il fatto che l’intero sistema di estrazione avviene ancora oggi effettuato interamente a mano. The state of theexisting rock geological profiles gives an uniform quality of product thanks above all to an accurate selection of the locations for the mineral processing made by the DLAYER research workers. Such a selection is made thinking about the geological aesthetic features and the fact that the whole mineral processing procedure is still totally handmade.
L’originale sistema di estrazione rende DLAYER UNIKO adattabile a qualsiasi idea. La sua versatilità lo rende un materiale ideale per rivestire pannelli lignei quali trucciolare, MDF e tamburati sia in ambienti interni che esterni. La sua trasparenza gli permette di essere applicato e retroilluminato a supporti quali vetro e policarbonato. La luce non si limita a filtrarvi attraverso ma “attraversa” la materia creando affascinanti tonalità di colore. The original mineral processing makes UNIKO suitable to any idea. Its versatility makes it an ideal material to cover wooden panels as chipboard, MDF and honeycomb both indoors and outdoors. Its transparency allows to be applied and backlit to glass and polycarbonate supports. The light not only filter through it but “go through” the material, creating fascinating shades of color.
DLAYER UNIKO è facilmente lavorabile. Può essere tagliato a mano con cutter, forbici e seghe da banco, mentre per un utilizzo industriale possono essere utilizzati pantografi e taglierine. Le caratteristiche di flessiblità e malleabilità permettono di rivestire sagome e profili complessi con gli stessi strumenti utilizzati per il legno. Si presta alla lavorazione in folding garantendo continuità tra le varie facce dell’elemento d’arredo, per un effetto monolitico sia visivo che tattile. Può essere presso-formato con presse a membrana per realizzare oggetti con forme curve complesse. DLAYER UNIKO is easily workable. It can be cut with cutter, scissors and saws, while for industrial use can be used pantographs and knife guillotine. The characteristics of flexibility and malleability allow to cover complex shapes and profiles with the same tools used for wood. It is suitable for folding technique ensuring continuity between furnishing faces, for a monolithic effect both visual and tactile. It can be pressed to achieve objects with all kinds of curved shapes using membrane presses.
DLAYER UNIKO si adatta anche a lavorazioni piĂš semplici come pannelli placcati e bordati. Sono infatti disponibili nella linea, bordi giĂ precollati coordinati per colore, forniti in bobina, adatti sia per utilizzo interno che per quello esterno. Non necessita di levigatura e viene protetto utilizzando le tradizionali vernici per il legno. DLAYER UNIKO is salso suitable to simple manufacture as panels, veneered and bordered. Are in fact available in the line, gluing borders combined by color, available in bobbin, suitable for indoor and outdoor. Does not need smoothing and must be protected using the traditional varnish for wood.
