BIG RED SPIRIT STORY BY ANNA PARDUE Gainesville High School Cheerleaders can always be found on the sideline of football games motivating the players, engaging with the band, and hyping up the crowd. With over 30 members, the team never fails to be present at community events, showing their Big Red spirit. The cheerleaders are coached by Brett Dillin and Abigail Turner, who consistently encourage the girls to bring their best selves to games and practices. Whether a game is at home in our own City Park stadium, or away at a guest field, the cheerleaders show up and show out to cheer the players to victory.
