YOUTH 3 PAY LIFE INSURANCE

How it works This Guaranteed Purchase Option Rider grants the right to have GBU issue one or more new policies on the Insured’s life without evidence of insurability. The face amount for each new policy may not be in excess of the amount shown in your Policy Schedule as the Guaranteed Purchase Option amount.

These riders are not included in your basic whole life policy or premium and must be added at the time of purchase.

• result from accidental injury which occurs while this Rider is in full force and effect; • result from accidental injury which occurs prior to the anniversary on or following the 70th birthday of the Insured. What is NOT covered? Benefits will not be paid under this Rider when death of the Insured results from

• the commission of, or attempt to commit, a felony;

Coverage can be purchased between 30 days before and 30 days after the policy anniversary date in the year that the Insured’s age attained is 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, and 40. This Rider expires on the anniversary nearest the Insured’s 40th birthday. Are there other times when more coverage can be purchased under this Rider? Additional coverage can be purchased during a substitute purchase period, which is within 60 days of a marriage or birth or adoption of a child. This can be done only if the Rider is in effect and there is a right to increase during the next purchase period. If the owner elects to purchase more coverage during this substitute purchase period, they cannot purchase during the next regular purchase period. Rider Details

• result from injury, directly and independently of all other causes; • occur within 180 days after the date of the injury;

• suicide; • acts and incidents of war or armed conflict;

• bodily or mental infirmity, illness or disease or medical or surgical treatment, except infection which occurs as a result of accidental bodily injury.

• travel in or descent from any kind of aircraft except as a commercial, fare-paying passenger;

• as a consequence of being intoxicated;

When can my child purchase more coverage?

• the voluntary taking of any drug not prescribed by a doctor; • voluntary inhalation or use of any poison, gas or fumes unless as a direct result of an occupational accident;

How it works In the event of accidental death, GBU pays the benefit amount, shown in the Policy Schedule, to the Beneficiary upon receipt of due proof of the accidental death of the Insured. This benefit will be paid in addition to any other benefit provided by the policy.   What is covered? Accidental death of the Insured must

• active participation in a riot or insurrection;

• any event while incarcerated; or
