Attention District Officers, To ensure GBU members that GBU has their safety and best interests in mind, GBU has developed a Code of Conduct and Child Safety Guideline document. Please share and read this document at the first meeting of the district each year. Please sign and return this to GBU for our records.

GBU District Code of Conduct This GBU District Code of Conduct applies to all GBU members and participants who include: GBU Districts, Officers, leaders, members, guests, and others participating in GBU District functions. All GBU members and participants are to carry out the charitable and fraternal missions of GBU in a harmonious and ethical manner and to conduct themselves and all GBU and GBU District functions in a manner consistent with the following principles: 1. Respect. Treating everyone with respect and dignity regardless of age, gender, ability, culture, race, language, sexual identity, religion or any other characteristics. 2. Loyalty. Acting in the best interests of GBU, the GBU District, members and their communities, subordinating self-interest, and identifying and addressing any conflicts of interest. 3. Stewardship. Being good stewards of entrusted resources and ensuring that these resources are devoted solely to the charitable and fraternal missions and activities of GBU and the GBU District. 4. Confidentiality. Maintaining appropriate confidentiality of all confidential GBU, GBU District and member information. 5. Safety. Prioritizing health, safety and wellbeing of all GBU members and participants. 6. Diligence. Diligently performing responsibilities. 7. Compliance. Complying with all applicable laws and regulations and GBU policies and procedures.
