"When I got out of PT school, I really had no idea how to make the transition from being a student to being a clinician. I literally chose my first job because it had the least squeaky floor. I was lucky to join a good team and got great mentorship and guidance, but I still struggled with a lot of things. As I met more students and newer graduate therapists, I realized that this was more of the rule and less of the exception. I saw an opportunity to use the experience I gained over my years in the field to bridge the gap between school and clinical practice, so I wrote down my thoughts and ideas to share with others. It's my hope that in this small way, I can help others to be more successful and confident and avoid some of the stumbling blocks that can pop, especially right out of the gate. "
