BEYOND THE STRETCH A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHIEF A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Coming off our first All-Hands meeting in January, I’m excited to elaborate on some of the initiatives our HR team is focusing on in 2023. As I mentioned, we really take the employee engagement survey seriously. We use it to determine not only what we want to work on for the year but also to check in and ensure that what we’re rolling out/communicating is resonating with our team.
What we heard from our August 2022 survey was that 1. Communication needs to be better, 2. People didn’t know of or understand what benefits are offered to them under our plans, and want to see further enhancements in our offerings and 3. That our team wanted to have a better-defined career path and understand what growth, development, and promotion opportunities are available to them, so we built our 2023 initiatives around these goals. In addition to having more all-hands events, we are working on rolling out an intranet in Q1 that will give everyone more clarity around where to find company information and who to contact with questions on a multitude of topics. From a benefits perspective, we hosted 1:1 sessions with all benefits-eligible employees to explain the benefits we have available and we received great feedback from the team. We also want to keep focusing on what we can do to support young families, work-life balance, healthy lifestyles, financial well-being, and mental health, which were items that our teammates seemed to care about most.
Finally, we’re working on building clear and specific road maps that will help all of our teammates understand what a career at TPG looks like and how to get there. In addition to mapping your potential growth, we’ve kicked off a new and improved, centralized onboarding for all new hires and we’re constantly evolving our growth and development initiatives through programs like the PCC Orientation, New Hire orientation/training, the Clinical Leadership Program and much more to come! We’re excited to see what 2023 has in store for all of us, and looking forward to continuing to get “better every day” together!
