My professors diligently supported and trained all the students to be the best educators for our future generations to come,” Limb said. “Through my courses and student teaching, I gained a better understanding of what it meant to be a highly qualified educator who is sensitive and aware of individual student needs. My student teaching experience at three different schools provided unique opportunities to work with a wide spectrum of students composed of all socio-economic levels including special needs students.” Limb’s interest and experience in working with bilingual educators serving children in California made her an exceptionally qualified candidate for the award.
