Why Scheller?
I chose Scheller for two main reasons: its career flexibility and the welcoming community. Initially targeting tech roles, I ultimately decided on consulting. Scheller’s strong brand and alumni network offered me the option to explore various industries. Throughout the recruitment process, I encountered many alumni and current students who genuinely connected with me and fostered a sense of belonging, which has persisted since my graduation.”

It’s comforting to know that I’ve forged connections and friendships here that extend far beyond the classroom.
At Scheller, I’ve found more than just an education – I’ve found a lifelong community and network of individuals who share similar experiences and aspirations.”

Class of 2024 Testimonials
I chose Scheller to make connections. Companies like Delta, Coca-Cola, Google, and Microsoft are just in our backyard. I saw executives from these companies on campus frequently for seminars and work study experiences. Having visibility and direct exposure with this level of seniority and with our other wonderful alumni at these companies gave us great leverage. We had many opportunities to participate in practicums in our area of interest and connect with the strong Scheller alumni network for mentorship. I am proud to say that I am a Double Jacket and that getting my MBA has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.”
Ooha Edupuganti, MBA ’24 Consultant
Bain & Company
The Jones MBA Career Center advisors practiced exceptional attention to detail as they served me and each one of their assigned students. I know they cared about helping us find our fit as we prepared for the interview process. When it was time for me to interview, I felt well prepared from their feedback in practice rounds as well as their overall confidence in me as a good candidate. The entire career team at Scheller works very closely with each other and they combine as an awesome support team for the entire MBA class.”
John Ross McEvilly, MBA ’24 General Manager Republic Services
The Jones MBA Career Center gave me the confidence and support to focus my job search and connect with valuable contacts. They made the application and interview process less intimidating. My advisor taught me to never discount my military experience. The skills you bring, like team collaboration, planning, budgeting, and risk analysis, are highly valued in the business world. The Career Center helped me leverage these skills effectively.”
Darren Holcomb, MBA ’24 Senior Associate PwC
The career center has been critical to my successful pivot to consulting. I initially felt lost regarding firms, conventions, and the recruitment process, especially without industry connections. The Jones Center has built a strong network and prepares us to leverage it through a comprehensive program of education and practice. My career advisor provided invaluable one-on-one coaching for interviews, tailored to my specific goals, and connected me with relevant alumni. Most importantly, she supported me during a stressful interview season, helping me navigate nine interviews in four days alongside my coursework.”
