BLOWING UP A
Early July and a well-known BPMA member’s product showcase caused a lot of social media and distributor activity after a successful event hosted by Andrew Kouroushi, Stormtech director of UK sales and founder and CEO Blake Annable. With the introduction of new ranges, including the Polygiene Stay Fresh technology range which will be added to the company’s UK product lines in 2023, growth plans for Stormtech seem set to continue.
The launch was well attended by many BPMA distributor members and displayed high performance jackets, T-shirts and the company’s range of bags.
Later in 2022, Stormtech is due to offer decoration services to UK distributors. Stormtech founder Annable explained: “In North America, a lot of our resellers ask us to do the decorating as they maybe don’t have access to a decorator who is confident enough to print on them.”

With a successful and eagerly awaited BPMA Charter package launch, the firstBPMA Charter package launch, the first

BPMA Charter networking event took place at the BPMA offices in Surrey (see report on p28). Attended by many BPMA Charter suppliers and distributors, the association presented the exciting new Charter package, Charter toolkit and assets to attending members. Post event, we booked in Charter member visits to communicate the importance of Charter membership to members sales and marketing teams.
My first visit was to Premier Print & Promotions. Welcomed by Jamie Marshall, the office team and Winston the rescue dog, we managed to grab half an hour to cover why Charter membership is sought after by end users and the messages through collateral that can be communicated to the client base.
PREMIER PRINT @ PROMOTIONS THE OUTDOORS COMPANY IN CONVERSATION WITH WEBINAR
Jamie also took part in the first BPMA ‘In Conversation With…’ webinar in July. Hosted by myself and taking the regular Industry Update slots on a Thursday at 12.30pm, alongside The Outdoors Company’s Paul Morley-Smith, we discovered a little about Premier Print & Promotions distributor history and The Outdoors Company supplier profile. It was interesting to discover how branded apparel is increasing in demand in the sector and the challenges high quality clothing as branded merchandise orders pose.
In Conversation With webinars are due to re-start in September with recordings later released as podcasts. We’re looking for willing BPMA distributors and suppliers to take part in these sessions, so if you are a BPMA member and have subjects you’d like to cover as a panellist, please let me know.
