Letter From James Gibson, President and CEO
Dear Members,
November is upon us and while we are experiencing shorter days and longer nights, this is a month of reflection and thanks giving.
November 11th is Veteran’s Day. It is defined as a time for us to pay our respects for those that have served our country. At Garden of the Gods Resort and Club, we will show our appreciation to those members with a complimentary breakfast for them at the Grand View on the day. Please make reservations for the Veterans Breakfast through Clubhouse online. Veterans and currently serving military are complimentary and other guests are regular price.
If you would like to have some extra time to enjoy the company of your friends and family during this holiday season, let US do the cooking for you on Thanksgiving. The Grand View and Rocks Dining Rooms will have turkey, ham, seafood, carving stations, and all the sides and sweets you could possibly want. For a more casual dining experience, KC Grille will be serving a lovey buffet. Take a look at the details within this newsletter and make your reservation soon.
We are having our Member Social on Wednesday, December 1st and it will coincide with the Neiman Marcus Holiday Pop-up to be held in the Hill Room. The Pop-up will be selling everything from housewares, jewelry, clothing and much more for your holiday shopping needs. Please watch for the member communication for more information on the Holiday Member Social.
The Annual Tree Lighting is scheduled for Saturday, November 27th at the main lodge. This year promises to be even more special with upgraded holiday lights throughout the resort. The Carolers and Santa will be here for the festivities as well. Cookie Decorating will take place in the Garden Room immediately following the Tree Lighting.
So many exciting things are happening at the Club right now and I, for one, am so grateful for all of those members who have become like family to us. I look forward to seeing you and your family enjoying many of these activities throughout the holiday season. Until then, I remain...
In wellness and with gratitude,
James Gibson President and CEO
