About Greenleaf Nursery Co.®

Greenleaf Nursery Co.® is one of North America’s largest wholesale nursery growers, each year producing many millions of container grown plants for retailers, wholesale distribution centers and landscapers across the U.S. and Canada. Primary products include: one of the industry’s widest selections of broadleaf evergreen and deciduous shrubs; 70+ varieties of ornamental grasses; a full complement of shrub roses available twelve months a year; a broad conifer selection derived from GreenleafOklahoma’s original “Predictable Quality” list; annual, perennial, and tropical “color”; and an excellent shade and ornamental tree offering. Virtually 100% “propagation self-sufficient,” Greenleaf also operates a large bareroot deciduous tree and shrub farm for the production of high quality “liners” destined for larger container sizes.

Container plants are grown and shipped to major markets (excluding the West Coast and South Florida) across the country from production facilities in Park Hill, OK, El Campo, TX, and Tarboro, NC.

Our territory sales force is comprised of 21 experienced nursery professionals eager to assist you with product information, shipping advice and ordering assistance. All are Greenleaf employees, selling only Greenleaf product.

Ordering Procedures

Follow these 3 easy steps!

1. Begin by reviewing the product listing of plant material we grow for you. Each listing indicates which of the Greenleaf Nursery Co.® divisions is currently growing that particular variety. The USDA Hardiness Zone for each variety is listed within the variety’s details and the reference map is on the inside, back cover for your convenience.

2. Please observe these minimums when ordering:

• #1’s - minimum of 10 per variety

• #2’s, #3’s, #5’s, #7’s, #10’s, & #15’s - minimum of 5 per variety

• Quarts - multiples of 12 (12 per flat)

3. Call your territory representative and place your order.

The territory representative in your area is listed on page 9 of this catalog. You may also call our customer service / sales staff at the nursery; they will gladly assist you with placing your order.

Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Central Standard Time in Oklahoma and Texas, and Eastern Standard Time in North Carolina. You may also place your order, any time, by fax or email. After your order has been processed, you will be emailed a confirmation. Please provide us your complete mailing address, email address and phone number at time of order placement. If your “Ship to” is different, please indicate so. Please provide complete delivery instructions and desired date of delivery needed.

Terms & Policies

Qualification

In order to protect our existing customers, we ask that you provide evidence of your established business location, Nursery Certificate Number, and applicable Tax Exempt ID prior to time of purchase.

Business Provisions

Our standard provisions are net cash - no discounts. However, we do offer a program of discounts based on the volume of your purchases. To learn more, contact your territory representative!

Prices quoted are F.O.B nursery. These are wholesale prices restricted to customers purchasing plants for resale. Prices do not include freight and are subject to change without notice. No C.O.D. shipments.

Credit Policies

Credit arrangements can be made upon receipt of approved credit application. Contact us or ask your territory representative to send you our credit application. Be sure to fill out the entire form, giving full addresses and phone numbers.

A minimum of four trade references are required Nursery industry references, preferred.

Past due accounts are subject to a service charge up to 1.5% per month (18% per annum). Any questions concerning a line of credit, will be promptly answered. All correspondence is confidential. Please allow 4 weeks for processing.

Shipping

All shipments of container material are made by semi-trailer. A minimum of $3,000.00 is necessary to include your order in a combination load for delivery.

Notes

On orders that total a half truck load or more, there is a 15% reduction on delivery charges. Please ask for a special quote for full truck load shipments. All goods travel at purchaser’s risk and expense. Delivery charges are a cash transaction and are due payable to Greenleaf Nursery Company, immediately after receipt of invoice.

Bookings

• Fall bookings must be shipped by November 1.

• Spring bookings from El Campo, TX must be shipped by April 1.

• Spring bookings from Park Hill, OK and Tarboro, NC must be shipped by May 1.

• Exceptions to these deadlines require previous arrangements.

Availability Notice

Orders are accepted on condition they may be voided or delayed without liability to seller due to delay or failure to deliver caused by crop failure, inclement weather, drought, hail, flood, fire, frost, freeze, strikes, or other causes beyond our control. It is understood that all orders accepted are subject to availability of stock, at time of delivery. All orders are confirmed and subject to prices stated in price list current at the time of delivery.

Plant Warranty

• We warrant our nursery stock to be true to description or variety name under which it is sold. However, should a problem arise, we hold ourselves in readiness, on proper proof, to replace such nursery stock or refund the original amount paid.

• We give no warranty, express or limited, as to the productiveness or longevity of the nursery stock we sell, nor will we be responsible for the results secured on transplanting. We shall in no case be liable for any sum greater than the amount originally received for said nursery stock.

• We will not entertain claims after goods have been accepted or when written notice is not made within 48 hours of receipt of plants.

• Claims made for any cause, must be made promptly upon receipt of stock.
