COMPANY HISTORY The G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group is an organization with a great history.
The company was established in 1964 by Andreas Vassilopoulos naming it after his three sons, George, Aris and Petros Vassilopoulos hence the acronym G.A.P. In spite of wanting to leave their own trademark in the Cypriot market, the line of business the three brothers chose to enter in the future, was not so different than their predecessors.
Their predecessors’ company (G.P.L. Mavroidi) dates back to 1864 and was heavily involved in general trading, petrol & oil trading, insurance, banking and shipping activities.
