This document sets out key information about your relationship with us, including details about pay, holiday entitlement and other benefits. Further information can be found on our website www.gap-personnel.com , in the handbook and in your contract. The Employment Agency Standards (EAS) Inspectorate is the government authority responsible for the enforcement of certain agency worker rights. Minimum Rate of pay expected:

Your minimum rate of pay will be no less than the National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage in effect at the time of work as can be found at https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-rates’ Your specific rate of pay and any enhancements under AWR can be found on your Assignment Details Form.

Deductions from pay required by law:

The employment business will pay the PSC gross values. Save where the assignment is operating within the public sector or confirmed as an assignment determined to be inside IR35, then the employment business will be required by law to deduct income tax and national insurance from wages prior to paying monies over to the PSC.

We are required by law to deduct income tax and national insurance. You can earn a certain amount of income each year, called Personal Allowance, before you need to pay any Income Tax, the amount depends on the tax code you have been issued by HMRC.

Any other deductions or costs from your pay:

• You pay national insurance contributions if you earn more than £242 a week;

• You pay 12% of your earnings above this limit and up to £967 a week;

• The rate drops to 2% of your earnings over £967 a week.

No other deductions from your pay are intended at this point.

It is the responsibility of the PSC to provide holiday leave and pay to the individual worker. You should refer to your employer / contract to determine if there are any fees for goods or services provided by them.

Additional Benefits: These could include access to collective facilities provided by a hirer on day one of an assignment under AWR. These will vary from client to client, your Assignment Schedule will provide the specific details for any assignments you accept.
