INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES ASSOCIATE REV. T. SHANE MATHEW, Program Director The Associate Degree in interdisciplinary studies provides students with a general education consisting of courses in English language and literature, philosophy, theology, fine arts, and the social and the natural sciences. This curriculum includes courses that help students to acquire the habits and skills needed for the pursuit of knowledge, to learn the methods of research, to understand ideas, to think critically, to interpret and evaluate judgments and to communicate with others. The degree also provides a strong foundation for students to continue their studies at the bachelor’s level.
