OUR COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

A GOOD PLANET IS HARD TO FIND.

OUR PLAYGROUNDS ARE DESIGNED FOR FAMILIES AND TO MINIMIZE THE IMPACT ON THE PLANET WHERE WE PLAY. IT’S OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ACT AS STEWARDS OF OUR PLANET AND ITS NATURAL RESOURCES. It’s also our mission to create fun, active, and innovative places for families to gather and play. Our environmental sustainability efforts are intended to help ensure children of today can take their grandchildren to playgrounds in the future. Our approach to stewardship and sustainability encompasses every aspect of our company - from the way we manufacture our products to how we do business. Children learn many valuable life skills on playgrounds. We’ve learned some important lessons, too. We continuously strive to be environmentally responsible and to make sure future generations benefit from our efforts.

125,000 INDIVIDUAL PARTS. 400,000 SQUARE FEET. ONE ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PLAYGROUNDS With more than 125,000 individual parts moving through our 400,000 square foot manufacturing facility, even the smallest steps towards greater environmental efficiency can help us make a very big difference.

WE PROTECT AND MAKE EFFICIENT USE OF OUR RESOURCES GameTime products use some of the world’s most durable and recyclable materials, including aluminum, plastic, stainless steel, and steel. Our playgrounds are sustainable and built to last decades, not years. The materials we use have the lowest possible impact on the environment and are strong enough to withstand the physical demands of playful, active families through years of changing weather conditions.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING We work with our suppliers to source the most environmentally preferable materials for our products. When possible, we make every effort to find opportunities to work with vendors and suppliers in our local communities to minimize the carbon output associated with transporting materials.

PARTNERING FOR A BETTER PLANET SAVING ENERGY, REDUCING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT Every kilowatt-hour of energy we save is another step toward lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Whether we’re updating light fixtures, upgrading air compressors, or conducting energy audits, every small improvement leads to significant reductions in our overall environmental impact.

CONSERVING WATER As water becomes an increasingly valuable resource, reducing water consumption – and using only the water we really need – is an even more valuable investment in the future of our world. Knowing each drop counts, we’ve implemented a variety of initiatives to reduce water consumption in our facilities, including the use of high-efficiency technology for product painting and washing.

We’re proud to support organizations that share our commitment to protecting the future of our children and planet, including: • The Trust for Public Land • The National Arbor Day Foundation • United States Green Building Council

U.S. GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL GameTime was the first playground manufacturer to become a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding sustainable building practices by transforming the way communities are designed, built and operated. Our relationship with the USGBC has broadened our perspective on the methodology required to address environmental concerns, through initiatives like increasing energy efficiency and reducing waste. As a result, the majority of our products are made from significant percentages of pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled materials, including 100% recycled options.

GLOBAL STANDARDS & CERTIFICATIONS Ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards for performance, safety, and environmental performance is one more way we’re offering our customers peace of mind that GameTime products are as responsible as they are engaging. • ASTM International • Consumer Product Safety Commission industry (CPSC) • IPEMA Equipment Certification • International Organization for Standardization (ISO) • TUV SUD America

Decreasing waste – and increasing the volume of material we recycle – is one of our biggest opportunities to make a big impact on our environmental footprint. In addition to using material that already contains recycled content, we also make every effort to reduce waste associated with our manufacturing processes. Today, the vast majority of waste at our manufacturing facility is recycled, including 100% of manufacturing process waste like scrap metal, rotationally molded plastic and paper. We also recycle the majority of our administrative waste, too.

The more recycled content we use, the more we help keep existing materials in a continuous cycle of use and reuse, thereby reducing our consumption of virgin raw materials in the process. From steel to plastic, we include as much pre-consumer and postconsumer recycled content in our products as possible – without compromising the quality, durability, and performance our customers count on.
