SOUTHERN DECADENCE FESTIVAL (Various locations in the French Quarter; www.southerndecadence.net) — There’s a walking parade in the French Quarter on Sunday at this annual gay festival, which draws more than 200,000 people. There are street parties, club parties, DJs and The Bourbon Street Extravaganza free outdoor concert on Saturday. Times vary. Admission to be determined.

SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA ZYDECO MUSIC FESTIVAL (Yambilee Festival Grounds, 1939 W.
