With a 99% pass rate at A level, outstanding BTEC results and – according to Ofsted (May 2011) - a framework in place that can soon make us outstanding, S6F is an excellent College in which to continue your education. By the time you join us we will have invested over £3 million in the last few years into refurbishing and rebuilding the College to enhance our facilities and create a modern, comfortable learning environment. We are a successful, supportive and friendly College that is committed to excellence. You can choose to study nearly any combination of our wide variety of A levels, BTECs and GCSEs. At the heart of our College is high quality teaching that enables you to achieve your best in your studies. But S6F is about more than you getting good qualifications; it’s also about helping you to discover and realise your potential. We offer a diverse enrichment programme – including, for example, the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award - and each student is assigned a Guidance Support Tutor to oversee your academic progress and well-being during your time here. Most of our students go on to Higher Education, many achieving places on highly competitive University courses. But a large number of our students have found that gaining advanced qualifications and skills is also the best way to move into employment or apprenticeship. We have former students working all over the world in a wide variety of jobs ranging from Theatre Director to Architect and from Social Worker to Barrister.
