As we embark on this exciting journey, we are thrilled to present an extraordinary lineup of performances that promise to captivate, inspire, and entertain audiences of all ages and tastes. From the enchanting melodies of Broadway to the dynamic sounds of contemporary music, this season promises to be one for the books.

We are delighted to showcase a diverse array of talent, featuring some of the most acclaimed productions and artists in the world. Highlights of the season include Broadway sensations such as "Hadestown," "The Book of Mormon," and "Pretty Woman," promising unforgettable theatrical experiences that will leave you spellbound.

Additionally, we are honored to welcome the incomparable David Foster & Katharine McPhee, the groundbreaking duo Black Violin, country music icons LeAnn Rimes and Trace Adkins, uproarious comedians Nikki Glaser and Tom Papa, and the legendary Patti LuPone, returning to our stage with her unparalleled talent for the first time since she opened the Gallo Center in 2007.

For those seeking a bit of spiritual inspiration, we are privileged to present contemporary Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman, whose music transcends boundaries and touches the soul. Furthermore, fans of Latin music will rejoice as we welcome Los Tucanes de Tijuana for a night of vibrant rhythms and infectious energy.

To kick off this remarkable season, we are thrilled to present Michael Feinstein's "My Tribute to Tony Bennett" featuring the Carnegie Hall Big Band—an unforgettable homage to one of the greatest voices in American music as part of our 24/25 Season Opening Gala on September 14.

This stage adaptation of 1984 is true to the novel in which Orwell depicts with great power the horrors of man’s fate in a society where Big Brother is always watching—where everything that is not prohibited is compulsory. GCRC presents a theatrical event that is both powerful and disturbingly provocative. Orwell himself once said, “I do not believe that the kind of society I describe necessarily will arrive, but I believe that something resembling it could arrive. The moral to be drawn from the dangerous nightmare situation is a simple one: Don’t let it happen. It depends on you.”

MUSIC BY RICHARD RODGERS

BOOK AND LYRICS BY OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II

BASED ON THE PLAY “GREEN GROW THE LILACS” BY LYNN RIGGS

ORIGINAL CHOREOGRAPHY BY AGNES DE MILLE

DIRECTION & CHOREORGRAPHY BY MAGGIE SNIFFEN

The groundbreaking musical that set the stage for all that followed! Rodgers & Hammerstein’s exuberant classic is a lively, tuneful musical full of cowboys, farmers, romance and fearless optimism.

Their first collaboration remains, in many ways, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most innovative, setting the standards and rules of modern musical theatre. In a Western territory just after the turn of the 20th century, a high-spirited rivalry between local farmers and cowboys provides a colorful background for Curly, a charming cowboy, and Laurey, a feisty farm girl, to play out their love story. Their romantic journey, as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road, contrasts with the comic exploits of brazen Ado Annie and hapless Will Parker in a musical adventure embracing hope, determination and the promise of a new land.

YES Company is presented in partnership by the Gallo Center for the Arts and Stanislaus County Office of Education.
