Direct from Broadway, Mean Girls is the hilarious hit musical from an award-winning creative team, including book writer Tina Fey (“30 Rock”), composer Jeff Richmond “(Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”), lyricist Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and original director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon).

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. Soon, this naïve newbie falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung!

USA Today : “We’ll let you in on a little secret, because we’re such good friends: GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!”

“Mean Girls delivers with immense energy, a wicked sense of humor and joyful inside-jokery.”

THE RETURN OF VERONICA SWIFT!

SATURDAY, APRIL 20, 2024, 7:30 PM TICKETS: $39/49/59/79

Back by popular demand, Veronica Swift first appeared at the Gallo Center as Chris Botti’s special guest during the 21/22 season. So impressed was our CEO, Chad Hilligus, Veronica was invited back for her own show in 22/23 as part of the Chad’s Picks series. If you didn’t see one of those performances, well, now you have another chance to be wowed by this extraordinary artist.

Since 2015, Veronica’s star has risen dramatically thanks to an outpouring of critical praise as well as highly enthusiastic audience responses everywhere she goes. Artistically, she crosses multiple genres in her performances. Her amazing jazz vocals are strongly infused with rock and pop influences ranging from Queen to Broadway. Don’t miss this one.

JIM MESSINA & PABLO CRUISE: OASIS IN THE SUN TOUR

SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2024 7:30 PM TICKETS: $39/59/69/79

Few musical artist résumés list membership in a band inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; fewer still can lay claim to helping create the Country Rock sound; and only one artist can include all the above plus being one half of the most successful duo of the 1970s. That’s Jim Messina, whose storied musical accomplishments with Buffalo Springfield, Poco and Kenny Loggins are perhaps without equal.

Now imagine this legend in concert with Pablo Cruise, the iconic band of smooth jams! Founded in San Francisco, Pablo Cruise music is all about honest, real down-to-earth vocals accompanied by fun yet elegant, infectious grooves. Though the band’s line up has changed over the years, founding members David Jenkins and Cory Lerios are still leading the way!

Hear “Whatcha Gonna Do?,” “Thinking of You,” “Cool Love,” “Watchin’ the River Run,” “Love Will Find a Way,” “Your Mama Don’t Dance,” “A Place in the Sun,” “Angry Eyes,” “I Want You Tonight,” “Peace of Mind” ...and more!

A boy, Christopher Robin, has decided to run away with his friends Pooh Bear, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Kanga and her son Roo, and wise old Owl. Probably they’ll go to the North Pole or maybe the South Pole. For there is a dark, mysterious threat that he’s about to be sent away to Education. Nobody knows exactly what or where this is. But it is generally understood that they’ll all run away, though Christopher Robin isn’t quite so sure. They all agree, however, that Eeyore must have a house. And so it is and all is resolved.

The play is suitable for children seven and up, but not for very young children.
