Gallery M&Art agents International Art Magazine No.9

Gallery M&Art agents history begins with a physical private gallery in Lund in 2012 and later in Ystad, Sweden that Marcus Carlsson owned for five years. Gallery worked with contemporary art and many talented artists asked about promotion because they didn’t know how to be more recognizable, to sell art-works, and to communicate with collectors and galleries. This is the starting point of his mission to help out other artists with promotion.

I often have an idea inside me and from that idea I start to paint. .After a while I can see something new in the painting, something that makes it even more interesting to continue with. An idea goes to another idea and so the result can even be a surprise for me, often a positive surprise.

As you see I have differens styles, watercolor, acrylic, abstract, non abstract. I even like to work with collage. I like the mix between different styles and I like to test new methods in creating art. So my evolution is to test and try and use different methods. I think I discover something new inside me and sometimes I even combines different methods to create art. I learn something new every time I make a painting.

BIOGRAPHY

O’Donnell is an award-winning Scottish painter, who after 18 years of professional practice in Northern Norway, now has studios in Spain and Scotland. "She makes work with a subtle minimalistic approach, the subject being the process of making it, inextricably linked to the concepts and actions of limitation, restriction and repetition. Systematic and meticulously planned works resonate with surfaces created by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal."

Dario Rutigliano and Melissa C Hilborn | Art HAbens Biennial Edition XVI. Works are in collections of The Scottish Office, North Norwegian Museum of Art, and The Norwegian Arts Council. Recent exhibitions include a.topos Curatorial Collective, Venice and The COCA Project. Articles are featured in contemporary art magazines including ART Habens and The Huts Magazine. Gaudium Gallery was born in 2020 from an idea of Massimiliano Maglione and Giuseppe Melè with the aim of creating not only an exhibition venue, but also a research space where ideas, connections and human relationships are developed.
