FEBRUARY
ADVERTISING ELECTRONIC SPECIFICATIONS: Ads should be supplied as a PDF using the PDF/X-1a:2001 format and meet the following criteria: ■ Images are to be a minimum of 300 dpi at the final printed size. ■ Colour images must be supplied in CMYK (not RGB) format. ■ CMYK or Grayscale images should be in 8 bit/channel mode. ■ Placed images should be in the tagged image file format (TIF) or EPS. ■ Pantone colours should be converted to CMYK. ■ 1-bit (linework) images should have a minimum resolution of 1800 dpi. ■ Fonts must be outlined or embedded, no sub-setting. ■ Ads created in Illustrator must have the fonts as vector data. ■ Ads supplied must use only the CMYK colourspace. (No RGB images or objects) ■ No crop marks should be present for non-bleed ads.
