Terry Furuta, owner of Terry Furuta Designs opens newest location at Corso Atlanta.

Terry Furuta is a seasoned floral and design pro with

40+ years of experience in the floral design business. Although she has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia studying international floral design trends and techniques, she has calls Atlanta home. Terry's designs fuse the exotic and the sustainable into imaginative and long-lasting arrangements of

orchids, mosses, air plants, and terrariums.

“I'm looking forward to creating an experience — a wonderful, beautiful experience."

Terry says Flowers of Giverny is her dream shop. She laid out the shop with Corso’s architects and

designers.

“It brings the outdoors inside and you have that feeling of being outdoors.” Terry describes. “It's much more peaceful.”

Terry makes sure the service she provides is all about the clients. She wants people to feel good and says the plants are just part of it explaining,

“The plants make people feel good but, I want them to feel happy with what they purchase and something that excites them as they come in and they see a flower, and they get excited by it.”

That’s one of many reasons why she enjoys Corso. “I will have people there that will want to come to the flower shop for an experience.”

Terry is excited the Flowers of Giverny is efficient and

beautiful, allowing people to come in participate in her passion while creating fun experiences. Terry hosts classes on-site so residents and their guests can create renowned arrangements.

Terry loves teaching the workshops and makes sure her customers are able to care for their creations, even when she is not around. In an effort to make sure each of her customers is successful, Terry provides a detailed care sheet specific to their plant. This relieves anxiety and makes each guest excited for the sustainability of their arrangement.

The beauty, services, and design for Flowers of Giverny embrace a calming atmosphere complete with positive energy. It is a great place to stop by for anybody who may need encouragement.

“I have people come in in this shop now and they'll just sit and say I just needed some good energy today and to be surrounded by some beauty."

Terry looks forward to these moments and having the opportunity to share happiness with guests.
