Love Frames. Samples of Memory / Magda Pelmuș Expoziția “Love frames. Samples of memory” (16 mai – 13 iunie) explorează tema iubirii, universalitatea ei, într-o manieră plină de ironie, din perspectiva clișeelor (“frames”) pe baza cărora funcționăm. “Conservăm în memorie experiențe și evenimente, într-o configurație proprie. Absorbim amintirile și facem un stoc de memorie apoi oferim mostre – mostre de iubire, mostre de viață, mostre de superstiții, radiografii ale memoriei. Există un tipar în care ne recunoaștem, un clișeu, o memorie colectivă pe care o împărtăşim, o agreem și asupra căreia, in genere, ne punem de acord. „Frames” sunt clisee ale scenelor romantice rupte din memoria colectivă a îndrăgostiților clasici, a lui Adam și Eva, veteranii îndrăgostiți stigmatizati din cea mai veche poveste de iubire” afirma artistă. The exhibition explores love in its universality, but with irony, from the perspective of the frames on which we construct our life. "A frame is a cliché, a moment, an image moved and stopped from life, a sample of memory. We preserve in memory experiences and events, in our own configuration. We absorb memories and make a stock, than we are offering samples - samples of love, samples of life, samples of superstitions, radiographies of the memories. It is a pattern in which we recognize ourselves, a cliché, a collective memory which we agree upon. A frame is a cliché from the romantic scenes depicted from the collective memory of classic lovers, of Adam and Eve, stigmatized veterans of love from the oldest love story ever."
