AFTERSCHOOL & CAMPS

Camp Programs

Camp programs provide a fun, educational, safe, and structured environment for children in Kindergarten through the 12th grade. This year our program provided 45 days of full-day, hands-on programming. Over 100 children participated in camps that included a variety of educational activities and field trips.

C.A.R.E.S. Program

The Children AreReally ExtraSpecialProgram is a nationally accredited, licensed year-round afterschool program serving 60 elementary school age children on a daily basis. This successful program provides opportunities such as field trips, computer instruction, art expression, and daily homework assistance. C.A.R.E.S. is a Quality Improvement System (QIS), maintenance level program.

Teen Programs

This licensed program provides services and activities year-round to over 25 middle and 25 high school youth, developing leadership skills, community involvement and career development. Students are involved in S.T.E.A.M activities and numerous community service projects as well as career exploration, internship opportunities, and college tours. Our Teen Program is also a QIS program, helping shape future community leaders through structured programming.

The City of Greenacres Youth Programs Department operates a Nationally Accredited outof-school time program that provides after-school and camp programs. It is licensed through the Palm Beach County Health Department, with a current licensed capacity of 150. This inclusive year-round program provides services to all elementary, middle, and high school youth in Palm Beach County.
