Beginning on Monday, 11 June 2012, ANC’s new afternoon programming slate starts with the daily 30-minute newscasts, News Now, will be shown at 2 pm and 3 pm. Ron Cruz, anchor of the news and talk program Mornings@ANC, will start off the newscast at 2 pm. “Most of the stories develop in the afternoon. The challenge is to break the news first. Expect us to give you the news as soon as they happen,” he said.
To better serve Filipinos worldwide, ANC also caters to Filipinos abroad by delivering the biggest national and regional stories in the country, along with reports from ABS-CBN bureaus around the world in The Bureau, anchored by Karmina Constantino.

The show presents the hottest social media buzz, usergenerated content, Bayan Mo, iPatrol Mo stories, and real time feedback from ANC viewers. Primetime on ANC and Top Story anchor Tony Velasquez is relaunching Future Perfect as a 30-minute science and technology show with features on the latest inventions, gadgets, and technological advances, and oneon-one interviews with Filipino inventors and science geniuses. The program airs at 7:30 pm on Wednesdays. Entertainment reporter Phoemela Baranda, on the other hand, puts the sexy back in the city as the new host of Cityscape, ANC’s guide to the hippest food establishments, fashion trends, weekend getaways, and hottest events in and out of the metro. It airs on Fridays at 9:30 pm.
