T

he wait is over...another great issue of G-Entertainment Magazine is here!! Although the Corona Virus has really turned the world up side down...we are still here. I thank God that my family and I are safe and I pray for everyone that has lost a loved one oe a friend. We can and will get through this together, if we do all that we can to stay safe. Over the last couple of months I have beeen reading alot of articles and watching alot of videos centered aroung Black Lives Matters and the plague of “Karens” that are social media daily. I am a strong believer in being peaceful with people that are peaceful with me (I think that is the Godly way to be), but I also believe in being viliolent with those that are violent with me (I will talk about this more next issue). We have been on break trying to deal with everyday life with this virus, but like I said before we are still here. In this issue as always we have some of the sexiest models in the industry. We have cover model Undeniable a returning feature from Florida, the sexy Chocolate the Doll, the curvy Tundra Doll, the beautiful Amina Q, the curvy Britney Shacora and Birmingham’s own the sexy Candrieka.... Enjoy!!! Harold Abram, Jr. FOR ADVERTISEMENT INFORMATION CONTACT US @ www.g-entmagazine.com

Candrieka (YaYa) Noel Interviewed by photographer: Roger Stephenson. Candrieka (Ya-Ya) Noel is a Birmingham, Alabama based, professional model. She was nominated in the AMA Awards for Model of the year for both 2018 and 2019. She is also a Spoken Word Poet, an Herbalist, and Brand Ambassor. How did you get into modeling? A: I was never into modeling honestly, I’m super tomboy-ish. But I did like looking at Tyra Banks›s America›s Next Top Model though, especially cycle 13. How and when were you discovered? A: I was discovered by Johnny Hawthorne of Jon Reon Modeling Agency when I was 19 in 2011, but I didn›t officially say ok until I was 22 back in 201314. I was walking downtown, and he spotted me and convinced me. What was your most scary assignment? A: My first nude shoot. I wasn›t too sure being that I wasn›t getting paid, but the exposure I got was crazy!!!! Lol Do you feel comfortable exposing your body in front of the camera? A: I am VERY comfortable with my body in front of a camera, but I also know myself and what I will and won›t do. I will not tarnish my brand for anyone. What would you say has been your biggest moment in your career so far? A: My biggest moment was going to Detroit, MI recently, which put me on the map harder than ever, so even I wanted to hide from the spotlight, I can›t. Lol What do you think are the important qualities someone needs to be a successful model? A: Humbleness! There›s so much controversy that comes with this business. You must have a hard shell and be able to move accordingly. Bubbles are important as well. I want people to meet me Summer G-Entertainment Magazine

and understand that I am a genuine woman about everything. You look amazing in these photographs. Do you mind me asking your measurements? A: I am a petite, high fashion model with some booty. Lol My brand is actually changing to androgynous. I can pull off both looks. Do you find or are there opportunities as a petite model? A: In all honesty, there are opportunities for all kinds of model nowadays. What would you say has been your biggest moment in your career so far? A: My other biggest moment was meeting an amazing woman named Coco Haynes, who is taking the time to teach me the right way to go. I›m so blessed to meet her! What›s your dream shoot? A: My dream shoot is to do a shoot for Vogue or Bazaar Magazine in a masculine form. Any photographers you want to shoot with? A: I reallllyyyy want to shoot with Jeremy Tarver bka Johny Zotic. His pictures of chocolate women are mega gorgeous! It›s like he captures the essence of us and is smooth on the quality. I also love working with Roger Stephenson and David Taylor. They are my faves! Places you want to shoot? A: I love art! Like everything about it. Places full of art allow me to become part a collection of raw beauty. Name your five essential items you wouldn›t leave the house without. A: A book, my daily inspiration, my bag, a pen, and oolong tea. Lol What kind of advice would you give to new girls to the industry? 53

54

G-Entertainment Magazine

Summer

A: Never settle for less than what you are. If you know you are good, go for it. If you know you need work, ask someone. We are all on the same page and all trying to be big at this. Let›s talk about favorites. What about… …Music? A: I love everything, but my fave genre is Neo-soul. I guess it›s safe to say I›m one of those Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill chicks. Movies? A: Horror movies are the best! But I›m an anime (Japanese cartoons) lover. I dig action, romance, and dramas as well. I›m such a chick. Lol …Books? A: I read mostly books by Black authors like Zane, KiKi Swanson, Equino, and more. …Food? A: I love Italian food! Anyone who knows me best will tell you that. Lately, I›ve been into Cuban, Mediterranean, and Mexican food. I have a soft spot for Tacos and Empanada’s. If you had to wear only one designer, who would it be? A: Chanel, all day, every day. Where would you like your career to go from here? A: I would like to use my modeling career as a platform to open other avenues I have. “For the Culture” is everything I am doing for the little and young black girls and women that feel like statistics and think that with a child everything is on hold. No! Keep going! Go harder! As a single mom myself, I know it›s a challenge to figure things out on your own with little help, but with the faith of a mustard seed, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! You just have to believe first.
