National Law Enforcement - Mental Health Learning Site Program

This is a peer-to-peer program administered by the United States Council of State Governments. Learning sites provide assistance in various forms: responding to calls and emails, hosting confer‐ence calls, providing training, and hosting visits from law enforcement and behavioral health person‐nel from across the nation. The 14 jurisdictions were designated because of their model collaborative programs for responding to individuals in mental health crisis. The 14 jurisdictions are Arlington, MA; Bexar County, TX; Harris County, TX; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Madison County, TN; Madison, WI; Miami-Dade County, FL; Portland, ME; Salt Lake City, UT; Tucson, AZ; University of Florida; Wichita, KS; and Yavapai County, AZ.
