RJ PRIYA (Yuva) RJ Priya is vivacious and owns a voice that is very versatile. No wonder the lady took little time to strike a chord with her audience. RJ Priya, the host of RED FM’s youth show Yuva is trendy, confident and humorous and once you listen to her she simply becomes a part of your life. Though the RJ is the latest addition in the RED FM team she hosts the show across stations in Kerala including Cochin, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram. Each show of Yuva is interactive and entertaining as RJ Priya keeps audience busy with games based on Hindi translation. The show becomes even livelier when youngsters or young celebrities guests grace the show. On Valentine’s week, RJ Priya hosted an entire week on love. RED FM, thus undoubtedly, is a team of energetic RJs who are completely different from each other but are so bound together making it a great team and definitely the best.
This time RED FM tells it through Kadhaprasangam! We all might have seen at least one Kathaprasangam in our life, where the orator tells stories from epics or modern literature with the accompaniment of some orchestra. Giving a modern twist to this performing art, RED FM in the month of February has taken up some socially relevant issues that are told to the audience through Kathaprasangam. With just a simple Harmonium, Tabla and Mic, the program started off with a special session with Kochi’s newly appointed Collector M.G. Rajamanickam, the next day the Kaadhikans (story tellers) took up the burning issue of “Pepper Spray in Parliament” and on the following days more home town issues

like the Flex Boards filling the city, the fight between “With and without Tea” and even the acquiring of Whatsapp by giant Facebook were addressed sprinkled with a pinch of humour. The one minute long Kathaprasangam performed by a three-member team known as Cochin Brothers kept audience hooked on to every show and tickled their funny bones. The Kadhaprasangam is performed 14 times a day in 93.5 RED FM.
