Though the shooting of the movie had commenced in Ottapalam the movie was named only recently. The scripting is done by Sibi- Udayan team and is likely to be based on comedy. Other cast includes Baburaj, Nedumudi Venu, Lal and Joy Mathew. The team’s first movie was `Udhayapuram Sulthan’. Dileep plays the role of a man borne and brought up in a weavers’ community and don’t want to pursue traditional trade business, he looks out for other ways to get rich instantly. Meanwhile he falls in love, the situations after that forms the story.
Dileep to play a magician in ‘Manthrika Thakkol’ Actor Dileep will play the role of a magician in his upcoming movie ‘Manthrika Thakkol’. The movie is a crime thriller- cum- family entertainer. Dileep plays the role of Dr Vignesh, a psychiatrist who gets into the magical world, which brings a lot of twists in the movie. Renowned photographer Ramachandra Babu is directing the movie. Anil Mukhathala has written the story while Sonal Thottan will produce the movie under the banner of New T.V Visual Solution. Dileep has already roped in the famous magician Gopinath Muthukadu for learning some basics of magic. The actor who has experimented a lot with his appearances in movies will don a new look for the role with long hair tied to a pony tail, french beard and coloured lenses.
