Honor Roll of Giving Breakthrough Fort Worth Breakthrough Fort Worth Breakthrough Fort Worth’s primary goals are to prepare hundreds of economically disadvantaged public middle school students to achieve college goals and to encourage talented and diverse high school and college age students to pursue careers in education. Our 2009-2010 programing once again helped set new benchmarks through important learning enhancements. A new school-year series ensured ninth grade students learned about the college admissions process and the variety of choices they have on their path to higher education. The Breakthrough National Collaborative’s new Improving Teacher Training Initiative (ITTI) strengthened our training standards for teachers and assistance. The program’s leadership education focus was heightened as volunteer teaching aide positions were nearly doubled and summer students learned about governance via a new Breakthrough Student Council. These advances fortify the children’s learning opportunities in the program and their path to a college education. Your generosity makes it all possible for them and on their behalf, thank you for your support and devotion to Breakthrough Fort Worth. Sincerely, Joe Breedlove Director of Breakthrough
