Lisa Slaughter ’99 married Ryan Stovall in May of 2009 at First United Methodist Church in downtown Fort Worth with a reception at the Reata rooftop. Lisa and Ryan honeymooned in Rome, Athens, Mykonos and Santorini in the Greek isles and Riviera Maya, Mexico. They now live in Benbrook, Texas, and are expecting their first child in April of 2011. Lauren Gilbert ’00 married Houdi Epstein June 20, 2010, at Beth-El Congregation in Fort Worth, Texas with a reception following at The Fort Worth Club. After a honeymoon in Turks and Caicos, the couple resides in Arlington, Texas. Wendy Kosek ’00 was a guest at the White House July 4, when President Obama spoke to military families celebrating Independence Day on the South Lawn of the White House. Anna Price Heyer ’01 was interviewed by the Tucson, A.Z., NPR station for the “Arizona Spotlight” section for her work with BioME, a biotech class that she started for the high school where she currently teaches. Anna was also recognized by the state of Arizona as one of three “innovative science teachers of the year.” She and a co-worker were asked to speak on BioME at a conference at the National Science Foundation in Washington, D.C. Anna says that several FWCD teachers, including Bill Arnold ’86, Sharon Hamilton and Suzanne Lewis, impacted her interest in science at an

Nathaniel Richard James Ulrich ’00 and Kristyn Anne Brezinsky were married July 10, 2010, at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans.
