Cycling on Water? Manta5 Hydrofoiler XE-1 Makes It Reality BOOTH 46135 Manta5 is positioning its Hydrofoiler XE-1 as the world’s first production hydrofoil bike and the first bike of its kind to replicate the cycling experience on water. Seven years in development, the Hdryofoiler XE-1 uses the same technology as America’s Cup sailboats. The New Zealand-based company sold out the initial pilot production run in six months, after a short video of the hydrofoil prototype went viral, amassing more than 300 million views on Facebook. To meet demand, Manta5 is implementing a staged delivery program with presales now open in the U.S. for delivery in early 2020. The Hydrofoiler redefines cycling and watersports by enabling riders to launch and plane through open bodies of water—from ocean shorelines to lakes and rivers. Cyclists can reach speeds of up to 12 mph, comparable to traditional sailboats. The bikes are made from strong carbon fiber and aircraft-grade aluminum, making them buoy-

Robo Risen’s PingPong robot models

Robo Risen Serves Up PingPong Robot BOOTH 26158 Robo Risen’s PingPong robot has been selected as a CES 2019 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Robotics category and will be showcased at the company’s booth at CES 2020. PingPong robot is a singular module-based platform robot that enables someone to create any kind of robot model with just single type of module (“Cube”). With PingPong users can create hundreds of easily assembled robots and provide an opportunity to enjoy fun activities at an affordable price. Each Cube has BLE 5.0 CPU, battery, motor and sensors. By combining Cubes and Links, the user is able to build any robot model within several minutes. Robo Risen solved many technical problems before bringing this platform to market, making it possible to construct running, crawling and walking robots with a single module. Other than synchronization, group assembly and charging problems, the company addressed PingPong Cube grouping issues as well. In addition, velocity and absolute angle motor control technology became available. Controlling hundreds of Cubes with a single device is now possible by utilizing PingPong star network technology. Robo Risen is positioning PingPong as a new standard in robot entertainment, SW education and in the makers market. Availability and pricing will be announced at the show.
