2025 Impact Report
The School That Changes Everything

A letter from our CEO
Dear Fusion Community,
As we reflect on an extraordinary school year, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the transformative impact we’ve made together. This Impact Report captures a year defined by growth, innovation, and unwavering dedication to every student, family, and educator within the Fusion Education Group community.
With 81 campuses across the U.S. and an accredited online program, Fusion continues to expand its reach — serving 10,844 middle and high school students in 2024, and students from 47 countries since its founding. This is just the beginning.
At the heart of our success is our one-to-one teaching model. Enriched by new course offerings and the vibrant connections built in our Homework Cafés and Global Neighborhood, this model reflects our deep commitment: to personalize school for every student — emotionally, socially, and academically — unlocking their full potential.
This year’s report holds special meaning for me personally, as it marks my final one as CEO. I’ve recently stepped into a new role supporting Fusion’s long-term vision alongside our board. While I’ll be cheering Fusion on from behind the scenes, I’m thrilled to share that Bryan Lively — who has served as our president — is now leading Fusion Academy as CEO. Bryan is a dynamic, mission-driven leader who brings both clarity and compassion to everything he does. I have full confidence in Fusion’s future under his leadership.
This report is a celebration of what’s possible when we embrace the idea that every student learns differently and every success story matters. It captures the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, students, and supportive families, all working together to create a school that truly changes everything.
With deep gratitude,

Jeff Poole Vice Chairman Fusion Education Group

Personalized learning options: The right school for every student
Fusion Education Group is focused on providing life-changing educational experiences through a relationship-based approach. Each school offers slight variances, but all are committed to helping students unlock their full potential — emotionally, socially, and academically.
Fusion Academy has more than 80 campuses nationwide. For over a decade, Fusion has offered personalized education through oneto-one teaching and the learning philosophy of Love, Motivate, Teach.

Barnstable Academy is located in Oakland, NJ and delivers a traditional college-prep education in a private, small-school setting. Barnstable Academy serves students in grades 6-12 and offers classes with an average of 8-12 students.

Welcoming two new campuses
In 2024, we welcomed two new campuses to the Fusion Academy family: Pembroke Pines, Florida and Gilbert, Arizona. These new campuses are already fostering strong, supportive communities where students thrive.
We’re proud to bring the Fusion experience to more families and look forward to the success stories that will unfold in these new communities.

Fusion Academy arrived just in time when our family was in great need of a positive change for our son with his learning environment.

New ways to learn, more ways to thrive
Personalized learning in every format
Fusion has long been known for our one-to-one approach — and that will always be at the heart of what we do. But we also know that every student learns differently. That’s why we now offer more ways for students to learn and thrive. Our in-person and virtual group classes (2-5 students) blend personalized instruction with peer collaboration, while our self-directed virtual learning sessions build independence with personalized support.
Available at most Fusion campuses, these new options enhance the student experience and provide more flexible tuition opportunities, making a Fusion education accessible to more families.
Supporting students across the globe
Now more than ever, students are facing steep declines in reading and math performance — setbacks that can have lasting effects. At Fusion, we’re meeting this challenge head-on. We’ve expanded our curriculum to include targeted courses specifically designed to rebuild math and literacy skills. Combined with our personalized, one-to-one teaching model, these courses help to close learning gaps and reignite students’ confidence.
No matter where they’re from, every learner deserves the chance to thrive. Our global reach ensures that students everywhere can access the support they need to succeed.

A growing curriculum to meet every student’s needs
Fusion is expanding its offerings to meet the evolving needs of students across the globe. Whether a student is catching up or getting ahead, our expanded curriculum ensures they’re supported every step of the way:
- Skills & Strategies courses in reading and math, now available for grades 4-12, help students close learning gaps early and build long-term academic confidence.
- English Language Learning (ELL) courses help English learners strengthen their fluency and build confidence.
- A Structured Literacy course for improved reading and writing using Orton-Gillingham-informed, multi-sensory techniques.
With these new additions, our students have even more ways to personalize their education and engage in meaningful learning.
Our daughter has changed for the better and is developing solid study habits due to the commitment from the staff and faculty.

A new era of connection: Introducing Fusion’s Global Community
Connecting students across all campuses
At Fusion, we believe in the power of connection to foster growth and a sense of belonging. That’s why we created the Global Community — an umbrella initiative designed to promote world friendship through the universal experience of community, connecting all Fusion students in a never-before-seen way.
Within the Global Community, students can engage in two key offerings: the Global Homework Café, a virtual space for academic collaboration and support, and the Global Neighborhood, a hub for joining clubs, events, contests, and more. Together, these initiatives provide a unique opportunity for students to build friendships, find support, and be part of a school-wide community — no matter where they learn.

Welcome to the neighborhood
At Fusion, classrooms are one-to-one, but socialization is one-tomany.
Through the Fusion Global Neighborhood website, students gain access to a wealth of social opportunities, including events like contests, social hours, clubs, and more. This vibrant new platform enables students to stay involved, whether they’re on campus, at home, or someplace else. In addition to The Global Neighborhood, we also offer experiences through:
- National and Regional Trips: Unforgettable experiences that bring students together in-person.
- Inclusive Social and Academic Programming: Events and activities designed to engage students from any location.
- Student Advisory Board and Limitless Leadership: Opportunities to develop leadership skills and make a lasting impact.
Our Global Homework Café: Now open to all students
The Global Homework Café, once exclusive to Fusion Global Academy students, is now open to all Fusion students
This virtual community space offers a unique opportunity for support and connection beyond the walls of a single campus.
Unlike a campus Homework Café, this online community allows students to collaborate with peers from across the country, join study sessions with students outside their immediate community, and receive live support from executive functioning coaches and academic mentors — no matter where they are. It’s a flexible, interactive environment designed to complement the campus experience while expanding networks and support systems.

Our daughter made friends, joined social clubs, and even called going to school fun! It was a true transformation.

Uniting students from coast to coast
Impactful learning happens both inside and outside the classroom
Over three action-packed days in New York City, 75 Fusionites from 18 different campuses came together for a trip filled with fun and friendship.
From iconic landmarks like Grand Central Station, Central Park, and the 9/11 Memorial, to the thrill of Wicked on Broadway, a Yankees game, and a scenic architecture cruise around the island — every moment was filled with excitement and discovery.

What a way to experience New York City. This really was above and beyond. It was fun for the kids and the adults — just a great vibe and SO MUCH FUN! Our kids were taken care of, but so were we. That’s a relief for this mama! Can’t wait until next year.

Through The Lead Mentor Program, socialemotional learning (SEL) integration, and mental health resources, we ensure every student has the support they need to thrive inside and outside the classroom.
This year, we’re deepening that commitment by expanding our supports, enhancing staff training, and introducing new resources to further empower our students. In addition to these supports, we also provide further resources through:
- Partnering with therapists and integrate learning supports to provide a full circle of support.
- Equipping staff with mental health and SEL training to create a safe, student-centered environment.
- Encouraging peer connections and interpersonal skills to help students build relationships and find a sense of purpose.
At Fusion, confidence starts with feeling seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
