2026 Impact Report
The School That Changes Everything

A letter from our CEO
Dear Fusion Community,
Stepping into the role of CEO has given me a front-row seat to what makes Fusion truly special: the heart of this community. Every day, across our in-person campuses and virtual classrooms, I’ve witnessed students rediscovering a love of learning, educators igniting confidence, and families finding hope again. It’s impossible not to be inspired.
This Impact Report tells those stories not just through data, but through the human connections behind every number. It shows how our one-to-one model transforms lives, how our teachers bring compassion and creativity to each lesson, and how our communities rally around every student’s success.
It reflects something even bigger too. We are giving families their family back by easing the stress and worry that often come with a student who is struggling in a traditional setting. When students feel understood and supported, home becomes lighter, conversations become hopeful again, and families regain the space to simply enjoy being together. That is part of what makes Fusion the school that changes everything. And that impact is seen in the numbers as well. Ninety-two percent of our parents are pleased with their overall experience at Fusion, a testament to the dedication of our educators and the trust of our families.
As we continue to grow, adding new campuses and expanding our reach internationally, one thing remains constant: our belief that education should adapt to the student, not the other way around. That belief fuels our innovation and commitment to help every learner thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Fusion’s mission has never felt more relevant. Together, we’re proving what’s possible when education meets students where they are and empowers them to reach their full potential.
Thank you for being part of this community and for believing in what’s possible when we put students first. Together, we’re building a school that truly changes everything.
With appreciation and excitement for what’s ahead,

Bryan Lively CEO Fusion Education Group

Every student deserves a school that fits
We believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to education. Our schools are built on relationships and are designed to meet students where they are. Through our four distinct but connected brands, we provide families with flexible, personalized options that help every student discover their strengths.
Fusion Academy has more than 80 campuses nationwide. For over 30 years, Fusion has offered personalized education through oneto-one teaching and the learning philosophy of Love, Motivate, Teach.

Fusion Global Academy delivers the personalized, one-to-one teaching and connected community of Fusion — entirely online through live virtual classes.
Sola Academy is an Illinois State Board of Education Approved Non-Public Special Education Program, offering certified staff, related therapeutic services, and a blend of one-to-one and small group instruction in a supportive environment.
Barnstable Academy is located in Oakland, NJ and delivers a traditional college-prep education in a private, small-school setting. Barnstable serves students in grades 6-12 and offers classes with an average of 8-12 students.
And when school fits, students thrive
These student stories are just a glimpse into the impact we’ve made

Now that I’m at Fusion, I realize my difficulties weren’t an issue with schooling, rather, I needed a change in environment.

Introducing
In August 2025, we proudly opened our 85th campus, Sola Academy, a first-of-its-kind pilot program designed to serve district-funded students with active IEPs in Illinois.
Located inside Fusion Evanston, Sola shares our same intentions to Love, Motivate, and Teach, while operating independently to meet the needs of students with learning differences. In partnership with public school districts, Sola delivers fully personalized, state-compliant instruction aligned with the Illinois State Board of Education standards.
With Sola, we can finally say “yes” to students who, until now, could not access a Fusion education due to funding or compliance barriers. It’s a new model (and a new chapter) in expanding what’s possible for every learner.

Where does the name Sola come from?
We chose the name as a tribute to Fusion’s very first campus in Solana beach — the birthplace of our mission to personalized education for every student. Beyond honoring our roots, Sola also draws from the Latin word for “only” or “individual,” reflecting our focus on each learner’s unique journey. It represents the light that guides our growth, the connections we build, and the transformation at the heart of Fusion.

Measuring our impact
Each year, we work alongside an independent research firm to gather feedback from our families. Their feedback continues to affirm what drives our work: when students feel safe, seen, and supported, they thrive.
In the following pages, we share the results of our impact in four key areas:
1
Student academic growth and success
2
Prioritizing student social and emotional well-being
3
4
Preparing students for the future
Family experience and impact
Survey reflects responses from approximately 3,400 students and 1,450 parents (gathered in 2025).

Student academic growth and success

Fusion has been an absolute game changer for our son. Our only regret is not finding this incredible school sooner.
– Mary, Fusion parent

Our students take ownership of their learning
At Fusion, students feel confident in their ability to master course material and are proud of the progress they’re making toward their educational goals. Our one-to-one approach gives every student space to ask questions, share ideas, and actively participate in class.
84% of students are proud of the progress they are making toward their educational goals.

Academic success, parent approved
Our parents see the impact of personalized learning firsthand — from steady progress in core subjects to the guidance and dedication of teachers who truly know each student. Families recognize that their children are not only meeting expectations, but exceeding them, thriving in ways that build confidence, motivation, and a love for learning.

Fusion truly understands that education is not one-size-fits-all, and they have filled so many of the gaps our children experienced in traditional schools.
– Kiran, Fusion parent
90%
88% of parents say their child’s academic progress is meeting their expectations. of parents agree their child is more successful academically at Fusion, compared to their previous school.
Growing all year long
Summer at Fusion is an opportunity for students to grow, explore, and excel in ways they might not during the regular year. From mastering challenging subjects to building confidence and independence, our summer programs give students the time and support they need to thrive.
Campuses can create unique summer experiences depending on student interest! At our Gilbert campus, students channeled their creativity in a wearable art summer camp — designing, sewing, and upcycling their own fashion pieces. It was a hands-on way to blend artistry, sustainability, and self-expression.
Across all our schools, summer programs have sparked curiosity and strengthened skills. This story offers a window into how Fusion empowers students to grow, no matter the season.

Fusion is a school that I didn’t think could exist. I am so very thankful that our child loves it there, and we do too. I can’t imagine a more perfect place for high school.
– Tracey B., Fusion parent
Cognia System of Distinction
Cognia is a global nonprofit organization who accredits Fusion. They are a respected thirdparty group that evaluates schools to make sure they meet high standards for academics, student support, and continuous improvement.
Out of over 1,100 accreditation reviews conducted globally, Fusion Education Group was recognized by Cognia with a prestigious System of Distinction award for 2025. We didn’t just meet Cognia’s accreditation standards, we exceeded them. Only seven educational institutions in the United States earned this recognition for exceptional teaching, strong operations, and a deep commitment to student success.
Being Cognia-accredited means Fusion’s credits and diplomas are widely recognized and our schools are held to consistent, high-quality expectations.

It’s never too early to learn differently
Fusion’s transformative personalized model, now for
4th and 5th graders
Fusion is now welcoming 5th graders at all campuses, with 4th grade offered at select locations — opening the door to personalized learning at an even earlier age. These students are discovering that school can be joyful, empowering, and built entirely around who they are.
Created especially for younger learners, our new curriculum strikes the perfect balance: challenging yet developmentally attuned. Like every Fusion class, each 4th and 5th grade course is tailored to the student’s strengths, interests, and pace, helping them build a deep love of learning that lasts for years to come.
Social-emotional growth is at the heart of it all. Through clubs and activities designed just for this age group, students practice empathy, collaboration, and self-advocacy: skills that help them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
For families seeking even more support for their young learners, the Study Buddy package offers one-to-one homework help during Homework Café time, giving these young learners the reassurance and encouragement they need to succeed.
At Fusion, we’re meeting students earlier on their journey. And we’re helping them grow with confidence and joy every step of the way.
Fusion has been a game changer for my 5th grader, who has benefited tremendously from the one-to-one learning model.
– Jessica, Fusion parent

Our dual diploma partnership
International partner spotlight: Camino School in São Paulo, Brazil

At Camino School, the world of U.S. education comes right to campus through Fusion Global Academy. In small group sessions, 40 Brazilian students are stepping into a dedicated Fusion classroom where they join live online lessons taught by our U.S.-based educators. With their Camino teachers there for support and their Fusion classmates logging in from across the globe, every day feels world-expanding.
Their goal? To earn a U.S. high school diploma alongside their Brazilian diploma. Outside of class, students connect even further through Fusion’s Global Homework Café: a virtual space where Fusion peers from around the world collaborate and attend student events together.
It’s a powerful mix of local community and global community, opening doors to U.S. colleges while keeping students rooted right where they thrive.
The power of a live educator for international students
The presence of a live educator transforms the experience for our international students. In real-time lessons, our teachers adapt instruction, honor cultural context, and build the kind of trust that gives students confidence to stretch and succeed. With a caring adult guiding them each step of the way, students gain accountability, momentum, and a true sense of belonging.
For our dual-diploma learners, live learning does more than deliver content. It humanizes the entire pathway. It ensures they’re seen, supported, and understood as individuals… not just enrolled.

Tomorrow’s leaders start here
Empowering students to lead with purpose
The Fusion Board of Student Leaders is a new initiative at select campuses giving students the opportunity to lead at every level of the Fusion experience — on their campus, within their local communities, and across Fusion’s global network.
Through live leadership cohorts, service projects, and collaboration with Fusion’s executive team, students are learning what it means to lead with purpose. They’re building communication and teamwork skills, guiding campus culture, and giving valuable feedback that helps improve Fusion for every learner.

I was super proud when I was elected to be a student leader! I never thought I would be chosen. All the work I’d done around campus was recognized... and I felt truly proud of myself.
– Web, Student leader at Fusion San Mateo
I now have the motivation to take more responsibility and the people around me encourage me as
a leader.
– Zayn, Student leader at Fusion Warner Center

Confidence leads to curiosity
When students discover their strengths, learning becomes something they love
As students build leadership skills and take ownership of their learning, they begin to see school in a new light — as a place for discovery and growth. Our teachers celebrate the “aha” moments and every bit of progress along the way. It’s in these instances that learning transforms from something students have to do into something they want to do. And it’s working:
84% of students report feeling confident in their ability to learn course material.
Because when students feel supported, capable, and understood, learning doesn’t just stick. It sparks something lifelong.

Prioritizing student social and emotional well-being

Fusion has offered our daughter a place where she is seen, heard, and truly belongs.
– Penny, Fusion parent

Nurturing growth beyond the classroom
In 2025, select Fusion campuses piloted an expanded social-emotional learning (SEL) program designed to empower students outside of academics. At Fusion, we know that students truly thrive when they feel supported in every part of their lives. That’s why the program, focused on student life, combines meaningful moments in the Homework Café, skill-building workshops, and personalized Lead Mentor sessions with a thoughtful SEL and life-readiness curriculum.
Socialemotional learning
Fusion makes every student feel seen, heard, and valued, consistently bringing out the best in each child.
– Kiran, Fusion parent
With this program expanding to all campuses in 2026, we look forward to helping even more students thrive, connect, and feel supported every step of the way.
Global Homework Café: Students access a virtual space for independent work and content-area support — whether on campus or at home — helping them strengthen focus and executive function skills.
Global Community: Offers opportunities for students to connect across campuses, building friendships and belonging through both virtual and in-person experiences.
Lead Mentors: Adults who provide tailored one-toone guidance based on each full-time student’s social-emotional and lifereadiness assessment.
Monthly Workshops: Offer dynamic group opportunities to practice executive skills, self-efficacy, and interpersonal connection.

Student life in action
Fusion students across campuses and online took their learning and teamwork to the next level with season six of EPIC! Survivor, a Fusion-wide challenge celebrating our EPIC! values: Excellence, Passion, Innovation, and Courage.
This was the first year students could team up in pairs to tackle creative, immersive challenges. This season’s theme? Time travel. Students journeyed through history and into the future, tackling challenges inspired by each EPIC! value.

EPIC! Survivor may be wild, but it makes for some legendary memories.
– Sofi, EPIC! Survivor contestant
Excellence
Students traveled to ancient Egypt to test their skills and embrace Fusion’s first value of striving for excellence in everything they do.
Passion
The Roaring ‘20s challenged students to bring energy, celebrate diversity, and pursue what excites them most.
Innovation
A leap to Mars in the year 3025 invited students to think creatively, learn from one another, and push the boundaries of possibility.
Courage
Finally, a trek to the Jurassic Period inspired students to speak up, take risks, and hold each other accountable.
EPIC! Survivor brings our students together. And thanks to our Global Community, the friendships, teamwork, and excitement continue every day, on every campus.

Taking student life to the next level with esports

In 2025, Fusion students discovered a new arena for connection — this time in the digital world.
Esports turns gaming into growth as students join campus-based teams to compete through PlayVS, a leading platform for high school esports.
With Fusion coaches guiding strategy, communication, and collaboration, our esports program transforms gameplay into a powerful learning experience building discipline and teamwork along the way. Students on select campuses practice and compete in live matches of Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. each week, forming friendships and representing their campuses with pride.
Beyond the competition, the impact is real. Research shows that students involved in esports show:
• Stronger engagement
• Improved attendance
• A greater sense of belonging
And for some, esports are just the start of an exciting path toward future careers or college scholarships in one of today’s fastest growing industries.

Preparing students for the future

During my son’s graduation speech he said that Fusion “gave me the space to figure my life out while also providing me with the education I needed.” That freedom — paired with compassionate academic support — set him on a path we couldn’t clearly see prior to Fusion.
– Brian, Fusion parent

The class of 2025 has turned their passions and strengths into real opportunities, earning spots at colleges across the country and around the world. Elizabeth: Fusion Englewood grad, heading to Northeastern University
As a full-time athlete, Elizabeth once thought school and skating couldn’t truly coexist. But then she found Fusion and everything changed. She shares, “I believe Fusion is meant for people who feel different. The reasons for how everyone found Fusion brings us together. I think that’s what makes it such a special place.”
Viraj: Fusion Newton grad, heading to MIT
Nonverbal and autistic, Viraj was thought to be intellectually disabled for the first 14 years of his life. Using text-to-speech assistive technology, Viraj says, “I was desperate for the world to know that I had a fully functional brain.” Now, he’ll be MIT’s first-ever non-speaking student with autism. Thanks to one-to-one learning at Fusion and mentors who believed in him, Viraj is thriving.
Melia: Fusion San Diego grad, heading to UC Riverside
Before Fusion, high school for Melia felt isolating. She didn’t feel welcome and was forced into an impossible choice: give up her academic support or her diploma. Fusion offered a third option: hope. She shares, “Being able to walk out of high school with both my mental health thriving and diploma in hand seemed like an unreachable dream until Fusion gave me a second chance.”

Supporting every step of the journey
At Fusion, college preparation is about more than academics

It’s about helping every student find their right-fit future. Through our College Week webinars, we bring together experts, alumni, and college counselors to guide students and families through each stage of the journey with clarity and confidence.
In Spring 2025, sessions like Navigating the College Search for Students Who Learn Differently and Leveling Up – Exploring Game Design Majors in College gave students practical insights into their next steps.
Our Fall 2025 series continued the momentum, focusing on topics like Helping Students Get Accommodations and Disability Support and College Success Pathways for Neurodiverse Students. And the week closed with an Ask a Fusion Alum panel — giving students an authentic look at what college life is really like.
We also welcomed experts like April Rehig, IEP parent coach and advocate, who equipped families with tools to navigate IEPs and access vital college supports.
Fusion Academy is genuinely committed to helping families prepare for the transition from high school to college.
– April Rehig, IEP coach and advocate

67%
of Fusion students who applied to college applied early decision or early action, showing both confidence and preparation for their next steps.
29%
applied early decision, committing to their top-choice school.
38%

Family experience and impact

I couldn’t be more grateful to this school, which has worked hand-in-hand with my family to help my child achieve the excellent results they have today.
– Nadia, Fusion parent
Loved by our families
At Fusion, our families’ satisfaction and trust mean everything to us – and our Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 75 reflects that. NPS measures how likely someone is to recommend an organization on a scale from -100 to +100. A positive score is good, a score above 50 is excellent — and 75 is exceptional.
For context, companies known for world-class customer loyalty like Netflix (67), Apple (61), and Google (58) all rank below Fusion’s score. That means our families are not only satisfied… they’re some of our greatest advocates.

The support we have received has been nothing but a positive experience. I highly recommend Fusion Academy!
– Kelly, Fusion parent
This level of enthusiasm speaks to what makes Fusion so special: personalized learning that works, teachers who care deeply, and a community where students truly belong.
