Indulgent Luxury, Handmade in New Zealand

Each Heirloom piece is designed, meticulously sewn and finished by our expert tailors here in New Zealand. We source carefully, using the highest quality vegan fibres from around the globe. Our passion and experience in this area has allowed us to have the widest range of faux fur textures, colours, and fibre lengths on the market. Each of our cushions and throws are backed with plush velour, chosen for it’s complimentary tone. Cushions are filled with a polyester inner as standard; if preferred, feather inners are also available.

Custom Service We offer a made-to-measure service for any of our featured furs. Although we carry an extensive range of product sizes, we understand that certain spaces may require unique dimensions. Contact us to receive a quote on custom making any size cushion, throw, bolster, or bedcover with single or double-sided fur. Peony Plume

Plush Pods An inviting statement piece, plush pods are the perfect excuse to relax and unwind. Handmade in New Zealand, each piece is carefully made to order with triple stitching for strength. Pods are filled with recycled polystyrene beans as standard, but are also available unfilled. Speak to us to create your made-to-order pod. Plush pods are available in all fur types excluding the Valentina (White, Grey & Black), due to the nature of this fur. For full fur options available, please refer to index pages 80-89.

Maintaining Your Pieces Faux fur throws and cushions should be cared for carefully to minimise matting of the pile. To ensure your Heirloom product enjoys a long life, we recommended the following wash and care instructions.

Care & Maintenance • For small amounts of soiling, gently sponge clean with a clean cloth. • Occasional light combing will keep the fur from matting. Brush gently in direction of the fur, starting at the tips and then working deeper into the base. TIP: use a teaspoon of light hair conditioner in 2 cups of water to lightly mist the fur, this helps cut down on static and detangle any knotted areas. Allow to fully dry. • Keep dark or tinted colours away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or discolouration. • Do not tumble dry, do not iron, and do not bleach. • Do not use any heat process as this will singe the pile and cause matting. • As standard dry-cleaning processes use heat, we recommend hand-washing only to maintain the silky finish. • When not in use, store your faux fur in a dry place out of direct sunlight.

Washing Faux Fur

• Gentle, cold hand washing is recommended with a small amount of specialised wool detergent. Mix detergent with water and submerge your piece. Agitate gently by running your hands through the fur. NOTE: do not use fabric softener as this can build up in the fur and create a residue.

• Line dry in breeze or hang on a rack with the fur pile facing up. Do not tumble-dry using heat, as this will singe the fur. Tumble-drying on a cool setting is possible although we advise caution due to the unknown settings of individual tumble-dryers.

• Rinse your item well to remove any residual soap. • Remove excess water by pressing your piece from top to bottom. Do not wring. • Shake the fur to help separate the fibres and remove any residual water.

• Enjoy your refreshed and restored faux fur.

• Once dry, gently brush through the fur with a comb or softbristled clothing brush. It is best to work in small sections.
