Life Reflections or Obituary Lillie M. Tucker Christian was born on January 10, 1937 in Shelby, Mississippi. She was one of ten children born to Archie and Mattie Tucker.

She received her early education in Shelby. In 1956, she moved to Lansing, Michigan and went on to attend Lansing Community College. She founded the course, Phlebotomy Technician, at Lansing Community College, where she taught the four-credit course for twenty-five plus years, retiring in 2011. Lillie was admitted as a life member of the Michigan Education Association for her service at Lansing Community College. She also retired in 1991 after twenty-five plus years from St. Lawrence Hospital, where she worked as a birth records secretary. In 1960, Lillie united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Luke O. Christian. Eight years after the passing of Lillie’s sister, Claudia, Luke and Lillie took in her two children, Lawrence and Denise Terry, loving them as their own. They spent their leisure time doing the things they love like boating, fishing and shooting pool.

In 1957, Lillie united with Friendship Baptist Church. She loved Sunday School and Bible Study class. She joined the usher board in 1980, where she remained faithful until her departure.

On August 4, 2018, Lillie made her peaceful transition to live with the Lord. She was preceded in death by: the love of her life, her husband of 21 years, Luke O. Christian, who died in 1980; her parents, Archie and Mattie Tucker; her sisters, Claudia Terry, Louise Ward, Charlene Allen, and Rosie Lee Barnes; her brothers, Robert Terry, W. L. Ward, and Rudolph Tucker; and her loving niece and nephew, Lawrence and Denise
