On behalf of the social work faculty and staff, greetings from the Fayetteville State University Department of Social Work! Our Ethics Conference consists 4 hours of Behavioral Health related Ethics training with a focus on rural settings, military populations and implications of transference and countertransference. The presentation format will involve lecture, activity and discussion designed to help the participants explore their own views and beliefs related to the content presented. The objectives of the workshop include increasing participant general awareness of ethical implications of social work practice in rural settings; increasing participant general awareness of ethical implications of social work practice with military populations, and increasing participant general awareness of ethical implications of transference and countertransference in social work practice.
