In which Panto does Widow Twankey appear?
Chairman’s Foreword
The last three months have been a busy time for FOST, as we recruit and train new volunteers. Our coffee cake and chat events have been very successful in encouraging new people to join us, as it is an ideal way of chatting and explaining over a cup of coffee how our theatre works. All departments are now benefitting from new people, but we still have vacancies in some departments, which need to be filled before we are fully staffed, so if you think you could help us then please phone, email or just come to the theatre in person. I would like to thank all our volunteers for the way they have pulled together so quickly during these difficult times, to make sure the theatre runs smoothly. The housekeeping team quietly go about cleaning and polishing – with the occasional hand down a toilet! – And keeping up appearances. The prize draw team persuade us all to buy tickets, which raises much needed funds for us to spend on essentials round the theatre, and the bar staff have exceeded all expectations with the increase in sales. The Box Office is now up to full strength, selling tickets for all the shows we enjoy, and the ushers are back to cheerfully show you to your seats. And finally, the catering team always put on a marvellous offering of food for all our FOST events, and the occasional performer who wants sustenance before a show. I am very proud of them all. Events to look forward to next year are:
