FOST Patrons Evening

On Monday 25th October, fifty Patrons attended the biennial FOST Patron’s evening, held at Shanklin Theatre.

The evening commenced in the auditorium where Janet Wardle, the FOST Chairman and Theatre MD, David Kast, thanked the Patrons for their generosity and support including the volunteers on the night that helped make this evening a success. A show followed on the theme of ‘A New Chapter in the History of Shanklin Theatre’ which included entertaining videos taken during lockdown made and presented by Rob Robertson. A sound & light show then followed where Stage Manager, Chris Gardner and Performer, Dominic Pope demonstrated the excellent capabilities of Shanklin Theatre light equipment and included performances by Tilly Grimshaw and Jake Curran. Tilly and Jake were the organisers of a fundraising event for the Theatre during lockdown that raised over £450 towards the refurbishment of the Theatre.
