LOCATION A 34km drive from Wanaka & a short 58km trip from Queenstown over the Crown Range, with Christchurch a 5h scenic drive to Wanaka.

TERRAIN Excellent variety with 8 lifts in total & 3 iconic basins to explore. From to the longest beginner trail in NZ, at 3.6km, to the best terrain park facilities in the Southern Hemisphere with 4 terrain parks, 2 halfpipes, a big air, World Cup slopestyle course and a gravity cross course!

KIDS CLUB No matter how old your kids are, they’ll have fun at Snow Sports HQ! The bottom floor of SSHQ is the Ski Kindy, a licensed childcare centre for 3 months – under 5 years old. The upper floor looks after kids aged 5-14yrs taking part in full day group ski & snowboard school lessons.

GETTING THERE Take one of a number of scheduled ski coach transfers from either Wanaka or Queenstown or self-drive to give you flexibility to stop at the iconic Cardrona Hotel for some après! Free resort entry and parking is provided, and friendly staff wave you in at the gate!

HOT TIP Delicious and affordable cuisine, there’s no need for a packed lunch when there are 8 cafés and restaurants to choose from!
